The Marlette District Library is located at 3116 Main St. Marlette, MI 48453. The Marlette district library provides free services to all residents living within the jurisdictional limits of the City of Marlette, Marlette Township, Elmer Township, Lamotte Township, and Koylton Township (Tuscola County).
Welcome to the Marlette District Library! We are proud to serve the Heart of the Thumb community! You will find our library to be friendly, cozy, and knowledgeable.
We encourage you to come in for a visit and see for yourself all the services the library has to offer. Whether you are looking to checkout items from our ever growing collection of books/audiobooks/DVDs/magazines/ebooks, needing Wi-Fi access or public computers, faxing/copying, or looking for information on programs we offer... we are here to help! We are confident that you will find a service or program that is helpful to you AND a book that could potentially be a new favorite! The Marlette District Library Board meets on the second Tuesday of every odd numbered month (January, March, May, July, September, & November) at 4 p.m. in the downstairs community room.

NOTICE OF PUBLIC HEARING
ON PROPOSED 2023-2024 BUDGET
PLEASE TAKE NOTICE that on Tuesday, March 14 at 4:00 p.m. at the Marlette District Library, 3116 Main St., Marlette, Michigan, the District Library Board of the Marlette District Library will hold a public hearing to consider the Library’s proposed budget for the period from April 1, 2023 through March 31, 2024.
The Board may not adopt its proposed budget until after the public hearing. A copy of the proposed budget is available for public inspection during normal business hours at the Library, 3116 Main St., Marlette, Michigan. All interested parties will be given an opportunity to be heard at the public hearing regarding the proposed budget.
This notice is given by order of the Marlette District Library Board.
